
HIGH POINT — Following the close of its extended submission deadline on Sunday, Aug. 9, the International Society of Furniture Designers has reported that it received 163 Pinnacle Award entries, making it the largest number of entries received in over a decade.
“Not only will our esteemed panel of judges have more entries to consider, the caliber of all the entries is incredibly competitive this year,” said John Conrad, ISFD executive director. “The judges’ work to select the finalists and then the ultimate winners is going to be extraordinary. Winners are slated to be announced at the Pinnacle Awards Celebration on Monday, Oct. 19.”
The Pinnacle Awards celebrate designs in 20 entry categories that are produced mostly in larger numbers for sale to consumers. Submissions are open to all furniture designers, manufacturers and design students.
