NEW YORK – Direct-to-consumer furniture brand Burrow is adding benches and credenzas to its growing list of home furnishings.
“With this collection, we were looking at the ‘in-between spaces’ across the home and how we could make them both functional and full of personality,” said Stephen Kuhl, Burrow CEO and co-founder. “Spending more time at home has us re-thinking our spaces and how we can optimize every square foot.”
Kuhl said the new benches and credenzas are an extension of the company’s best-selling Serif and Bento table collections. Burrow created these new pieces to maintain a cohesive aesthetic. They designed to be mixed and matched to meet any customer’s needs and style.
The collection is made of solid hardwood with oak and walnut finishes, customizable leg options are available, and the pieces can be put together in under 15 minutes, without any outside tools.
- The Serif Credenza presents a mid-century design with a tall silhouette and metal accents. The height allows for artwork or TVs to rest at eye level. The piece also offers interior adjustable shelves and hidden cord management slots to conceal electronics. The credenza is available in walnut with brass metal accents or oak with black metal accents for $875.
- The Bento Credenza offers a clean, modern silhouette with a range of customizable features that can make up to eight unique designs. The multi-purpose storage piece offers reversible doors in white laminate and two natural wood finishes, oak and walnut; as well as the option to choose between two legs; mid-century hairpin or minimalist straight legs. The credenza is available in both oak and walnut for $775.
- The Serif Bench has a mid-century modern frame with a solid hardwood, precision-milled seat and metal accents. The low height allows the versatile piece to double as a durable coffee table. The bench is available in walnut with brass metal accents, or oak with black metal accents for $375.
- The Bento Bench offers a classic mid-century style and includes customizable legs in a classic hairpin or contemporary straight style. It also includes a durable fabric cushion in crushed gravel that spans two-thirds of the top. The bench is available in oak and walnut finishes for $395.
“As we expand further into our customers’ homes, we continue to ask them for direct feedback ahead of each new product launch, ensuring we are catering to all their needs,” said Kabeer Chopra, Burrow chief experience officer and co-founder. “That’s especially evident in this collection, from the credenzas’ adjustable shelving options and reversible veneer doors to the Bento Collection’s new straight-leg option–all developed due to demand from our customers.”
