DALLAS – Dallas Market Center announced it has put in place updated health and safety policies aimed at keeping buyers and other visitors safe during its August trade show events.
Center officials said the complete health and safety guidelines are available on the home page of the Dallas Market Center website. The guidelines cover existing protocols such as social distancing as well as the requirement to wear a mask in Dallas Market Center facilities. There is also a mandatory temperature check for all those entering the marketplace, including buyers and exhibitors.
The guidelines also cover facility operations, registration, food and beverage service, shuttles and employee screening.
Officials said they are taking these steps despite a recent decrease in COVID-19 cases in Dallas County, including a 50% drop the week of July 19 based on information from Dallas County Health and Human Services. Market center officials said that the Dallas Market Center is located in the least-vulnerable ZIP code in Dallas County.
“As we prepare to welcome buyers into our marketplace in August to conduct business in permanent showrooms and the temps, it’s important to remain vigilant and exceed the recommendations and guidelines from health officials in order to create a healthy environment for business,” Dallas Market Center said.
