LOS ANGELES – E-commerce furniture site Dims has released its newest piece, called the Cleo Stool, a barstool version of the company’s best-selling Cleo Chair.
Created by Norwegian designer Stine Aas, the stool has a slender curved back flowing into its architectural base. Solid ash wood legs frame a molded seat, and the stool is also certified by the Business and Institutional Manufacturers Assn. for heavy-duty use.
The company said its new Cleo Stool is made with sustainable wood sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and meets the standards for low chemical emissions. It is available in the same colors as the Cleo Chair: Wimbledon Green, Natural Ash, Ink Black, Fjord Blue and Tobiko Red.
The stool is available for preorder at $450, with a regular price of $495.
Other site offerings include a composed vanity, three wood tables and a bar cart that are all sold direct-to-consumer online.
