GREENSBORO, N.C. – ECommerce Sales Partners, an e-commerce sales agency focused on helping furniture companies develop and implement online distribution strategies, has partnered with product experience management platform Salsify to help its customers win “on the digital shelf.”
Salsify, recently named in Gartner’s June 2020 report “Cool Vendors in Digital Commerce,” uses its platform to combine the elements brands need for online success. Those include product information management, digital asset management, digital catalogs, syndication, global data synchronization network, digital shelf analytics, enhanced content and third-party marketplaces. Early e-commerce leaders from retailers to distributors have used Salsify’s tools effectively.
ESP looks to bring that power to home furnishings vendors. Salsify has helped brands get their product content live everywhere it needs to be, including retailers such as Wayfair, Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowe’s. Its platform is designed to increase the speed and accuracy with which product information is assembled and maintained and the velocity with which it is distributed to those sites, all aimed at a superior product experience for that brand’s dealers and their customers.

Will Carpenter
“We are pleased to be named a Salsify business partner focused on home furnishings vendors,” said Will Carpenter, a founding partner at ECommerce Sales Partners. “We believe that as retail continues to move digital it’s more important than ever for vendors to focus their marketing and dealer support in meeting the consumers where they start their shopping experience: online.
“Salsify is a powerful tool that empowers our brands to put their best foot forward at the beginning of that shopping experience on leading e-commerce retailers’ websites,” he continued. “We believe this partnership highlights our capability to assist and manage the implementation of the Salsify platform. We believe Salsify will give our clients a competitive advantage over homegrown less customizable (product information management) solutions. ”

I’m Powell Slaughter, senior editor at Furniture/Today. I returned to the publication in January 2015 after nine years of writing about furniture retail strategies and best practices at a monthly magazine focusing on home furnishings retail operations. Prior to that, I spent 10 years with F/T covering wood furniture, the last five of those as case goods editor. Upon my return to F/T, I developed coverage of the logistical and service aspects of the furniture industry as well as following the occasional, home office and home entertainment categories. In April 2018 I took over the upholstery category, with responsibility for coverage of the fabric and leather stationary and motion upholstery, recliners and massage chair categories.
