REDONDO BEACH, Calif. – Leading power pack and cordless motion technology provider Enouvation looks to expand business beyond North America through a new partnership with global home care and repair products manufacturer Uniters.
The alliance is designed to help retailers and manufacturers of power motion maximize the opportunity to sell cordless power motion globally.
Enouvation CEO Sam Contreras said the company has been looking to bring the success of its product in North America to the global marketplace.
“We have been able to create a category and penetrate the market in North America and have established ourselves as the benchmark,” he said in a release. “Our goal is to achieve that same success in global markets, starting with the European Union.”
Nathan Munton, chief sales officer at Enouvation added that with the company’s rapid growth and to almost all Top 100 U.S. retailers and beyond, the best path for international growth was to partner with another industry leader.
“Uniters is the global leader in home care, repair products and product protection plans,” Munton said. “Their established distribution network in six continents and over 100 countries is a way for us to penetrate quickly, and just as importantly service those markets. Power motion is the fastest growing category in the industry, and partnering with a company like Uniters to offer it to more consumers with the ability to go cordless just makes sense.”

Prior to that, I spent 10 years with F/T covering wood furniture, the last five of those as case goods editor. Upon my return to F/T, I developed coverage of the logistical and service aspects of the furniture industry as well as following the occasional, home office and home entertainment categories. In April 2018 I took over the upholstery category, with responsibility for coverage of the fabric and leather stationary and motion upholstery, recliners and massage chair categories.
