HIGH POINT – The High Point Market Authority has set the lineup for its virtual fall market programming, aligning with its #HPMKTsafe initiative to eliminate large, in-person group gatherings during October High Point Market.
The virtual Keynote Series will include three sessions during fall market’s dates, Oct. 13-21. Each session will begin at 3 p.m. and offer one IDCEC-approved continuing education units (CEUs). An attendee must attend the live webinar and remain for the full hour in order to receive the CEU.
In the first session, taking place Oct. 14, a panel will focus in on the intersection of wellness and home design for the keynote session, and panelists include Clodagh, Charles Pavarini III, Michael Peterson and Lori Miller. In the second, launching Oct. 16, two mini-sessions will focus on the future of virtual design services, and on Oct. 19, Edmund “Eddie” Ingle, CEO of Unifi/Repreve, will present Sustainability in Textiles, focusing on the wastefulness and lack of recycling within the textile industry.
The virtual Style Spotters Live! event will take place after Market on Nov. 11 to recap the products spotted by the team in October. Offering insights into the leading looks and on-trend products from market, the Style Spotters will unveil the standout looks and colors, textures and patterns of the new season in advance of their Style Report debut.
“Access to industry thought leaders and information sharing on pertinent topics impacting our industry is a vital component of a well-rounded High Point Market experience,” noted Tom Conley, president and CEO of the HPMA. “With these events being offered virtually, even those who are unable to join us this fall in person can still benefit directly from these sessions.”
All sessions will take place via Zoom, and registration is required. Additional details about the Keynote Series can be found online. Information and registration details for Style Spotters Live! can be found here.
