PHILADELPHIA – Interior Define recently opened the company’s seventh U.S. Guideshop, located in Philadelphia. The space was originally slated to open on March 23, but the pandemic caused the date to be pushed back.
“Philadelphia has been on our radar for quite some time as we’ve witnessed peak consumer interest and performance in the city and its surrounding areas over the years,” said Jill John, Interior Define chief customer officer. “Our hybrid, digital-first business model coupled with our ability to create products that are uniquely defined by our consumers is a natural fit for the market’s urban lifestyle.”
“Today, shoppers can choose to receive full-service virtual consultations with our design specialists to navigate our customization offering, or they can schedule safe, in-person appointments in our Guideshop for more tangible experience,” she added.
Also, after launching a new rug category with 20 styles last November, Interior Define is expanding its rug collection to offer new styles of hand-knotted, hand woven, power loomed and hooked rugs. Pricing for the new styles runs from $295 to $1,995.
The hand-woven rugs are made by artisans with the help of a loom from materials such as jute, wool, polyester, viscose and art silk. They have lower pile and a thin profile, which makes them ideal to place underneath furniture legs, according to the company.
The new patterns for the rugs include the Keaton, Keegan, Maisie, Emerson and Cameron.
The company’s Guideshops located in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, Austin, Texas and now Philadelphia are currently available by appointment only due to the safety restrictions put in place during the pandemic.
