MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. – In partnership with the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Assn., Intertek is holding a webinar that focuses on correct safety labeling for children’s products, including furniture.
The event, scheduled for 2 p.m. EST Aug. 25, is titled U.S. Labeling Requirements for Children’s Products. It will be presented by JPMA certification lab partner and associate member Intertek, a testing and quality assurance resource that provides services to companies around the world.
Experts at Intertek will discuss how children’s products have different labeling requirements when compared to general use consumer products. These include U.S. Customs and Border Protection Country of Origin and Uniform Packaging and Labeling Regulation requirements as well as tracking labels and warning labels for children’s products.
The experts also will discuss
- Age determination guidelines for children’s products labeling
- Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) tracking labels and
- Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) cautionary statements and warnings requirements.
