The Clean Care pillow line touts a safe sleeping story.
PHOENIX — PureCare’s new Clean Care pillow line, produced at the company’s new headquarters in Phoenix, is off to a fast start. The line is targeted to care facilities, hospitals and nursing homes.
“We have retained our entire staff and added eight new positions in distribution and manufacturing to keep up with product demand,” said Sean Bergman, PureCare’s chief operating officer.
The pillows are being produced at PureCare’s new pillow production line, set up with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, the company said.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted some parts of PureCare’s operations, the company’s supply chain remains unchanged.
“PureCare has not re-oriented our supply chain,” Bergman said. “Our supply chain is moving at 100% efficiency with zero delays, including manufacturing overseas and in the U.S. Our product development continues on the same path as it did before COVID-19, adhering to a strategy we established before the pandemic.”
A focus on protecting employees’ health has led to some changes at PureCare.
“We have re-oriented customer service, order processing and accounting to work from home for the foreseeable future in order to limit the amount of people in our corporate office and ensure our employees’ wellbeing as our top priority,” Bergman said. “Our sales staff is hard at work doing webinars for our customers and building out an e-learning platform that will support their webinar initiatives in the future.”
He said the company’s distribution and manufacturing workers continue to work at the company every day and “are truly PureCare’s heroes” today.
“They endure temperature checks every morning, strict social distancing measures and wearing PPE in the Arizona heat,” Bergman noted. “Many of them have been working significantly more hours than normal to keep up with demand. They have been truly incredible.”
He said PureCare is staying the course during the pandemic.
“We were a successful business before COVID-19, and that has set us up to be successful throughout COVID-19,” Bergman said. “We have always run a lean and mean business based on a history of harnessing the potential of our employees’ ingenuity. We have made many new and exciting partnerships through the pandemic, because PureCare has a focus on never letting our customers down. That reputation is known in the industry, and new exciting opportunities and collaborations are coming as a result.
“We are supporting our current partners, and they are supporting us. We are incredibly fortunate because of all the members of the PureCare family.”
