ATLANTA — ReST, Responsive Surface Technology LLC, has released a sleep quality monitor called NightVision.
Using the company’s patented AI Inside smart bed technology, NightVision collects and reports sleep data based on real-time respiration and body movement. The app is available to new and existing ReST Bed users.
NightVision measures respiration rate and body movement directly and uses this data to generate statistics on sleep stages and cycles, respiratory rate with timeline, wake after sleep onset, restless movements, body position percentage during the night and total sleep time.
The monitor does not need to be attached to the user’s body and is always-on.
“We believe in using technology to provide consumers a good night’s sleep,” said Lloyd Sommers, ReST general manager.
NightVision requires a brief one-time on-boarding process, and data can be accessed remotely when not at home.
