HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – Organizers of the Vietnam International Furniture & Home Accessories Expo have planned their annual show for next year.
In a letter to buyers and journalists who have attended the event in the past, the organizer said the event has been rescheduled to March 10-13, 2021.
The event was originally planned for this March, but delayed indefinitely due to travel restrictions resulting from COVID-19. As those concerns persist, officials decide not to hold the event this year, instead planning it for next March as conditions improve.
“Until present, the COVID-19 management in the world is not improved, which leads to travel restrictions and impacts on overseas exhibitions and visitor’s participation,” the organizer said in its letter.

I’m Tom Russell and have worked at Furniture/Today since August 2003. Since then, I have covered the international side of the business from a logistics and sourcing standpoint. Since then, I also have visited several furniture trade shows and manufacturing plants in Asia, which has helped me gain perspective about the industry in that part of the world. As I continue covering the import side of the business, I look forward to building on that knowledge base through conversations with industry officials and future overseas plant tours. From time to time, I will file news and other industry perspectives online and, as always, welcome your response to these Web postings.
